Terms & Conditions
Effective date: June 2026 · Last updated: June 2026
Welcome to The Magnolia Room. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the contact, inquiry, and event-questionnaire tools connected to it. Please read them carefully. By accessing or using our site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These Terms apply to your use of our website. Any event reservation we accept is governed by a separate written rental agreement, which will control the specific terms of your event. In the event of any conflict, the signed rental agreement will govern.
1. Who We Are
The Magnolia Room ("The Magnolia Room," "we," "us," or "our") is a banquet and event venue located in the Downtown Historic District of Decatur, Alabama. We host weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, holiday celebrations, and private events of many kinds.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using our website, or submitting any contact, inquiry, or event questionnaire form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the site.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this website and to request or book an event. If you are using the site on behalf of a company, organization, or another person, you represent that you are authorized to do so. You agree that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.
4. Use of the Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not harm, disrupt, or interfere with the site or other users.
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
- Attempt unauthorized access to the site, servers, or systems;
- Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code;
- Interfere with site security or performance;
- Copy, scrape, or harvest website content without permission.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for misuse of the site.
5. Website Availability
We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the website, or any part or feature of it, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may restrict access for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the website or any part of it.
6. Event Inquiries, Quotes, and Bookings
Information on this website, including descriptions of our venue, packages, pricing, and availability, is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer.
When you submit an inquiry or event questionnaire, we may provide information, a quote, or a proposed date at no obligation. Any quote or availability we share is an estimate based on the information provided and may change depending on the date, guest count, services, season, or other factors, and may expire after a stated period.
Submitting an inquiry, questionnaire, or form does not reserve a date or create a confirmed booking. A reservation is confirmed only when you and The Magnolia Room enter into a signed written rental agreement and any required deposit or other conditions in that agreement are satisfied. Dates remain subject to availability until fully confirmed.
7. Payments, Deposits, and Cancellations
Fees, deposits, payment schedules, security or damage deposits, and cancellation and refund terms are set out in your signed rental agreement, not on this website.
Where payments are processed online, they may be handled by trusted third-party payment providers subject to their own terms. We do not store your full payment card details on our website.
Please review your rental agreement carefully for the terms that apply to your event.
8. Your Submissions
By submitting information through our forms or communication channels, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it is accurate.
You grant us permission to use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, provide services, and plan and coordinate your event, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
